Creating an account with brightwheel as a staff member allows the ability to clock in a timecard, check in students, log activities, and message parents.

Activate a new account
To activate your brightwheel account, first ensure your program has invited you by adding you with an email address.
If you received a direct email invitation, follow the instructions provided within that email and click Get started.
If you were added as staff but did not receive an email invitation, proceed with the steps below, using the email address your program used for your invitation.
Go to the brightwheel sign in page on the web or open the mobile app
Click Sign up
Select Teacher / staff member or Admin / director
Enter your email address and password, then hit Continue to enter the verification code to complete the setup

I’m getting an error message using my 6-digit verification code. What’s wrong? | We know this can be frustrating and there are a few different scenarios that could be causing you to receive an error message. Review the error message provided after inputting your code to determine what the suggested resolution steps are.
The error message "This account cannot be activated" indicates the account has already been set up. To fix this, take steps to sign-in to brightwheel instead of clicking sign-up. |
