The Daily Attendance Summary Report allows Admins and Managers to easily pull a report to see the number of students in attendance during any 32-day date range. If you need specific check-in/out timestamps, consider using the Check-in Report.

ℹ️ If a student has check-in for a day, the report will count them as present.

View the Daily Attendance Summary

  1. Log in on the web

  2. On the side menu, click to open the Reporting page

  3. Click the Attendance tab and select the Daily Attendance Summary report

  4. Apply filters as needed

    1. Set the Date range

    2. Select the appropriate Room or leave blank to show all rooms

    3. Select the Student status or leave blank to show students of all statuses

    4. Set the Subsidy Status if needed
💡 Subsidy Status is set in a student's profile under Financial Details!

    5. Toggle "Exclude weekend days" to on to only report weekday attendance

  5. Click Apply to view filtered results

ℹ️ Check-in/out records for deleted rooms will not appear in the Daily Attendance Summary. Use the Downloads Report to view records in deleted rooms.

💡 If you receive an error that states "Date cannot be in the future" when viewing this report, it's likely due to accessing the report on an outdated web browser.

  • Refresh your browser's cache & cookies, and then try to log in again to see if that's resolved the issue. Find more details about how to do this for your particular browser here: Safari | Google Chrome | Internet Explorer | Firefox

  • Alternatively, try using a new browser or accessing the report in a browser in Incognito

Correct Attendance Errors in the Report

The following attendance errors will be flagged and can be corrected by Admins right from the Daily Attendance Summary:

  • A student was checked in but is missing a check out

  • A student was checked-out but was never checked in (which can happen if the check-in record was deleted)

  • A student who was checked in and marked absent on the same day

  • A student who has an attendance record spanning more than 24 hours

  • A student who has overlapping attendance records

At the top of the report, you will see a banner with the total number of errors in the selected time period. You can hit Review in the banner to be taken to the attendance editing page or hit Fix Error next to a specific record.

Here is how to correct attendance errors on the attendance editing page:

  1. Follow the steps above to create a report filtered for your needs

  2. Tap Review in the upper right corner of the red banner or hit Fix Error next to the applicable record

  3. Once on the editing page, review all the students who need corrections to their attendance records

  4. [Optional] Use the the "Show only attendances with data issues" toggle or "Group rows by student" toggle to filter/sort your data

  5. Add any missing check-in times or check-out times by clicking on the applicable box
