Admins and Managers can easily generate web-based reports for planned menus and meals served. These reports help collect the data needed to support compliance with the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and reimbursement for qualifying meals and snacks served to children.

Available reports

Summarizes meals served vs. CACFP-claimable meals, with breakdowns by meal type and status (free, reduced, paid).

Shows and exports daily CACFP-claimable meal counts only.

Provides a detailed view of all meals served, including per-child daily totals and exportable meal items.

CACFP participants can send attendance and meal count data directly from brightwheel to My Food Program.

FAQs

Why are my meals showing up as 'not_specified'?

If no Meal Type (E.g. Breakfast, Snack) is selected when logging a student meal, it will count on meal reports as not_specified.
