Daily Reports are at the heart of brightwheel. Teachers save time by logging all of the daily activities straight from the brightwheel mobile app.

Teachers and staff can pull an Activity Report of all the activities logged for a particular class or for all classrooms within your organization.

Table of Contents

Activity Report Online

The activity report table is viewable by all teachers and staff. This table will display the number of times each activity type was logged on a given day and can be filtered by Room and Student Status. To view the Activity Report:

  1. Log in online and click Reports

  2. Click on the Activity report option under Student Reports

  3. Select the Room, Date, and/or Student Status you'd like to view and click Apply

Please Note: This table includes all activities, including those that have not received admin approval

To see everything a parent would see, click View under the Daily Report column for an individual student.

Print or Send the Activity Report

Teachers and staff can print or send a daily report to parents at any time. Simply click View under the Daily Report column, two options will pull up. You are able to Print this report, and/or Send it via email.

Daily Reports on a Child's Feed

Daily activity reports are also accessible via the student's feed online and through the brightwheel mobile app, exactly the same way a parent would find this report. Simply navigate to the student's profile and click on Daily Report to view today's report.

To view a previous day's report, click on the student's feed, filter for, or scroll to, the desired day and click on the Daily Report button at that top of that day's activities.

Pro Tip: Parents can choose to receive an automated daily email summarizing their child’s day. To learn more about how parents can get these emails automatically - click here!
