As a guardian, staff member, or Admin there are often times where certain files need to be uploaded. We offer the ability to attach a file to a brightwheel Message and share an upload as a Shared File.

Review our list of allowed file types below!

Allowed File Types List

  • .jpeg

  • .jpg

  • .png

  • .heic

  • .webp

  • .gif

  • .tif

  • .mov

  • .mp4

  • .pdf

  • .docx

  • .doc

  • .xlsx

  • .pptx

  • .txt

💡 If a file type not included in the list above is uploaded, an error message will appear and the file will need to be converted to an allowed type to successfully complete the upload.
