If you've upgraded your brightwheel subscription to include Experience Curriculum, you are in the right spot!
If you want to create a custom lesson plan, see our resource here. If you're ready to assign an Experience Curriculum lesson plan to a room, continue reading below.
💡 Any staff role can take these actions.
Assign Lesson plans to a room
Once Experience Curriculum lesson plan templates are in your account or you've created a custom Lesson plan template, you can assign them to a room. This creates a unique copy, separate from the original template.
If you've enabled the auto-assign lesson plans setting, these plans will have already populated in your rooms and can be viewed from the Overview tab.
Log in on the web
Click Learning in the sidebar menu
Select Library > Lesson plan templates
Click the desired template, then Assign to room
Edit the lesson plan as needed
Edit a Lesson plan once its assigned to a room
To learn how to edit a lesson plan, see our resource here.
Note: If you edit a lesson plan after it's assigned to a room, the edits will only apply to that unique copy in that room. A lesson plan that is not yet assigned to any room is the original template.
View Lesson plans assigned to rooms
Once a Lesson plan has been assigned to a room from a template, you can view the unique copy created from the Overview tab. You can view Lessons assigned for each month.
Log in on the web
Click Learning in the sidebar menu
From the Overview tab, click through each month to view assigned Lessons
