If you've upgraded your brightwheel subscription to include Experience Curriculum, you are in the right spot!

Providers can conveniently configure their curriculum sharing settings to

  • Send monthly curriculum newsletters to families

  • Give families access to lesson plans

  • Choose to auto-assign lessons to rooms

Send monthly newsletters to families

Turn on the setting "Automatic family newsletter sharing" if you wish for families to receive monthly newsletters highlighting a specific curriculum theme. Families will receive the newsletter via brightwheel Messaging the Sunday before a new theme is supposed to start (i.e. the Sunday before the first Monday of a calendar month).

  1. Log in on the web

  2. Hit Learning > Settings

  3. Locate "Automatic family newsletter sharing" to turn it on or off

Note: Only families that have a student in classrooms where Experience Curriculum lessons are auto-assigned will receive these newsletters.

Family access to Lesson plans

Turn on the setting "Family access to lesson plans" if you wish for parents to preview their child's learning curriculum in their brightwheel account.

  1. Log in on the web

  2. Hit Learning > Settings

  3. Locate "Family access to lesson plans" to turn it on or off

Auto-assign lessons to rooms

You can auto-assign digital lesson plans to specific rooms each month, ensuring they automatically receive the designated Experience Curriculum. You'll choose if Preschool, Toddler, or Baby age group lessons are assigned to reach room and can adjust these settings at any time.

  1. Log in on the web

  2. Hit Learning > Settings

  3. Locate "Assign digital lessons to rooms" > Click the pencil icon

  4. Select Preschool, Toddler, Baby, or None

💡 Tip: If you choose not to auto-assign lessons to rooms, you will need to manually apply any lesson plans in the future. We highly recommend keeping this setting on to save you time each month as new curriculum is populated.
