Providers can use brightwheel to easily send enrollment contracts for families to sign! Simply upload a PDF of your enrollment contract such as a policy handbook, photo release, or medication form, and send it directly to families for their signature.

For contracts that outline fees and billing schedules, please see our guide on creating a Tuition Agreement.

Create a new enrollment Contract

Before creating a Contract, you'll need to have a PDF copy of your contract ready to upload to brightwheel. If your contract is related to billing families, visit Create and share your program Tuition Agreement to upload this contract type.

  1. Log in on the web

  2. Go to Paperwork > Forms & Requests.

  3. Click Create new (top right) > Contract.

  4. Select Other as the type and click Create

Share a Contract with families

You can share contracts from the Forms & Requests tab and Parents are notified to sign in their account to complete the form. Visit Share digital forms for additional ways to share a Contract.

If parents have trouble accessing a contract, we recommend sharing our guide for families to Complete Forms instead of resharing the form to avoid creating duplicates.

How contracts appear for families

Once you share a contract, parents will:

  • Receive an email or text with a link to the form

  • Be able to access it from the Forms & Requests tab in their child's profile

  • Review the document, complete any required fields, and sign their name

When the parent is finished reviewing the contract and has signed it, they can click the blue "I agree" button in the bottom right corner to submit the contract.
