Payers can remove their payment methods if the method is no longer needed or it has expired. This can be done independently through the brightwheel mobile app or by contacting the brightwheel Support team.
🚩 If removing a payment method, you may be responsible for making arrangements to pay any outstanding balances to your program. Contact your childcare program to understand acceptable payment methods and timelines. Additionally, programs can assist in providing alternative payment options.

Before proceeding, ensure you have the last 4 digits of the payment method to be removed.
Log in to brightwheel (web or app)
Navigate to Payments > Payment Settings
Click Delete next to the payment method
After completing these steps, log out and log back in to confirm the removal. If the method still appears, contact brightwheel support for further assistance.
