Payers can remove their payment methods if the method is no longer needed or it has expired.
🚩 Note: If you are removing your payment method, you may be responsible for making arrangements to pay any outstanding balances to your program.
We'd recommend that you reach out to your program to find out what alternative payment options may be available to you.
Remove a payment method
As long as one payment method is attached to your account and mandatory autopay is not required by the provider, you can remove your connected bank account(s) and card(s).
Log in to brightwheel (web or app)
Navigate to Payments > Payment Settings
Click Delete next to the payment method
Note: You can remove a payment method if autopay is not required by your program. If autopay is required, please contact the brightwheel Support team at help@mybrightwheel.com to remove a payment method signed up for autopay. If autopay is not turned on at the school and/or account level, all payment methods can be removed.
