Every year, brightwheel publishes a Back to School roadmap of exciting new releases that are either already live or coming soon to the platform. Big improvements this year include:
Staff Time Off. Track both paid and unpaid time off in brightwheel, and have the events automatically populate in Schedules.
Expense Management. Connect your bank account or card to automatically record expenses, and report on Profit & Loss.
And there's more. 25+ improvements will be live in your brightwheel Premium account by this fall.
*New* Bottles logged now have meal type and will flow to meal reports.
It's now easier than ever to maximize CACFP reimbursements with brightwheel. When bottles are logged, meal type such as breakfast or lunch can be selected.* What's more? Bottles are now included in both the Meal and Meal detail reports 🙌.

*New* A staff role without parent messaging is now available!
As you update your staff roster for the summer and fall, you can use the new Staff Without Parent Messaging role to gain greater control over your staff's brightwheel experience. This role type can still log activities and send staff messages. Watch this 2-minute video to learn more and add staff today.
Families will set up billing even faster than before. 🤩
Just in time for summer and the new school year, the brightwheel app has been updated so families now have a smoother and faster experience when they add a payment method and enroll in autopay. This means families will sign up for bill pay even faster, getting you paid on time, every time. No action is needed on your end. Watch this 2-minute video to see the new experience.
