Maintaining an up-to-date and accurate library of charges is vital for managing your program's billing needs. There may be times where editing charges is necessary, like when preparing for a new school year, with updated rates or it may be applicable to remove charges if they are no longer relevant from the program's needs.

Edit a Charge
Editing a charge is easy in the Billing Library. Please be aware that once edited, changes do not apply retroactively to any already posted or pending charges and will not affect and billing plans that were previously created with that charge. The edited charge will only be reflected when applied to a new billing or one-time charge in the future.
Log in to brightwheel on the web
Select the Billing tab from the purple dashboard menu, and open the Library
Select the charge that needs to be edited
Click the pencil icon to edit the charge, and update the fields as needed
Once complete click Save to library
Remove a Charge
Charges can be removed from the Billing Library at any time. Please be aware that once removed, changes do not apply retroactively to any already posted or pending invoices and will not be removed from any previously created billing with that charge. The edited charge will only be reflected when applied to a new billing or one-time charge in the future.
Log in to brightwheel on the web
Select the Billing tab from the purple dashboard menu, and open the Library
Find the Charge that needs to be removed
Click the Trash icon for that item to remove the charge
Click Delete to confirm
