The Invoices Report allows billing administrators to easily see which invoices have been posted and the status of those invoices for a single student or for multiple students across a certain time period.

Report Details

The Invoice Report contains the following information:

  • Invoice post date

  • Invoice due date

  • Student name

  • Invoice #

  • Charges in the invoice

  • Status of the invoice

  • Original invoice amount

  • Paid invoice amount

  • Current invoice balance


Create Report

  1. Log in to brightwheel on the web

  2. Open the Reporting tab

  3. Under Billing reports, select Invoices Report

  4. Set the Earliest post date and Latest post date to view posted invoices

  5. Optionally, apply filters for Invoice Status, Student Name, Student Status, and Room to filter displayed invoices

  6. Click the purple Create report button

Selecting Create report will display the appropriate invoices based on the selected filters in the table below and you can click Print to obtain a paper-copy of this information.


Export Report

  1. Log in to brightwheel on the web

  2. Open the Reporting tab

  3. Under Billing reports, select Invoices Report

  4. Set the Earliest post date and Latest post date to view posted invoices

  5. Optionally, apply filters for Invoice Status, Student Name, Student Status, and Room to filter displayed invoices

  6. Click the purple Export button

  7. Select or add the recipients to receive the exported report

  8. Click the orange Send to person button

  9. Download the report sent to the selected email address(es) and open in your preferred spreadsheet tool, if necessary

The exported report will automatically total the amounts in the Original Amount, Paid Amount, and Balance columns for your convenience as shown below!
