CACFP guardrails automatically check meals in real time for required CACFP food components as you build or assign menus. If anything is missing, youâll see an alert so you can fix issues early and stay compliant before meals are served or claimed.
Providers can see what items are missing by hovering over the 'Missing' info icon for more details.
This feature is on by default, so no setup needed. If youâd rather not receive alerts, you can turn off CACFP guardrails in Settings.
Enable or disable CACFP guardrails
Log in to brightwheel on the web
Click My School > Settings
Under School Info, scroll to CACFP Guardrails
Turn the setting on or off
