If you don't see your student in brightwheel, we recommend contacting your provider and ask them to:
Add your email or phone number to the child's account.
Provide you with your child's specific 10-digit invitation code
When the program adds you as a contact, you can create an account, or it will connect to your existing one. If you receive a 10-digit code (sometimes on a digital or paper invitation), simply enter it in your account to automatically add the student.
For the security of your child's information, brightwheel cannot grant direct access to student profiles; access is entirely controlled by program administrators.
I have multiple students, but only see one child.
If you can see one of your children but not all of them, you likely have duplicate accounts with different login information.
This can happen if your center added you more than once with mismatched information, or if you accidentally created duplicate accounts (e.g., one with an email and one with a phone number).
To resolve this, we recommend your provider do the following:
Ask to be added as a new contact to the missing student's profile, ensuring they use the exact email or phone number linked to your correct brightwheel account.
Or, request the student's 10-digit invitation code for the missing student to add the profile yourself.
If you and the program need assistance after troubleshooting, please contact the brightwheel Support Team directly.
