Sometimes you can't get to a message right away, or you may have backlog of message notifications that need to be cleared. In brightwheel, you can mark individual or multiple message threads as read and unread when needed.
Mark Messages as Unread
Marking a message as unread keeps the message thread highlighted, ensuring you never miss a response between providers and families, along with other staff.
On the Web
Log in to brightwheel on the web.
Go to the Messaging page
Find the message thread you wish to mark as unread
Hover over the message preview to see the Mark unread option
Click Mark unread
To mark messages as unread in bulk, select the checkboxes next to the desired threads and click Mark unread in the purple window that appears
