Providers may ask guardians to review their child's historical attendance and provide their signature to confirm the records are correct.

To complete any signature requests, ensure the brightwheel mobile app is downloaded and updated before opening the request from a mobile device. Signature requests can only be completed on the mobile app by taking the steps below:

  1. On your mobile device, look for a email or text notification titled 'Signatures required for week of [Date]' or 'A signature request has been sent'

  2. Click Review or click on the URL in the request to open the brightwheel app

  3. Review the attendance records.
💡If inaccurate, contact the provider for corrections and request a new signature request.

  4. If the records are correct, click Sign and approve

  5. Provide a signature, then click Approve

ℹ️ Important Notes

  • If the guardian’s account includes an email address, the signature request is sent via email. If only a phone number is listed, the request is sent via SMS text.

  • A signature request for weekly attendance is different from the individual signatures required during daily pick up and drop off. Please reach out to your provider if you have any questions about a request.
