Keeping the brightwheel app updated to the latest version is an important step to make sure that each device is using the most secure version of brightwheel and has access to all of the latest features and updates.
Update iOS Devices
On iOS (Apple) devices, like iPhones and iPads, the brightwheel app can be updated manually, or set up for automatic updates to be downloaded each time a new version is released. For more information, see Apple Support's guide on How to Update Apps on your Apple Device.
The minimum operating system requirements are:
iOS 15 on an Apple device
🚩 If you are already using brightwheel and on an older device running iOS 14 or below, we recommend updating to the latest iOS. If you are unable to update to the minimum required version of iOS you will eventually be unable to utilize the brightwheel app. In order to continue using brightwheel you would need to purchase a device that can support iOS 15 or higher.
