The Paperwork tab is a gamechanger for streamlining documents.
Say goodbye to families losing documents or taking weeks to return a form. With Paperwork in brightwheel, you’ll streamline all documents for families.
Forms & Requests can be used when families fill out information or sign a document. Shared Files can be used when you post information like a handbook. Learn more about how these two feature types differ here.

Coming soon: A “Billing only” staff role for accountants and other staff!
Thanks to feedback from the community, a NEW “Billing only” staff role will be available in the coming weeks. This means you’ll be able to give an accountant, bookkeeper, or other financial staff access to billing but nothing else in brightwheel. They’ll also be able to pull billing reports, saving you time and giving you greater control of how finances are managed at your program. 🙌

Check-in & attendance improvements! Exciting updates are coming these next few weeks to make it easier for you to maintain accurate attendance records for licensing.
Absence reasons in check-in report: student absence reasons are now available in both the check-in report and custom reports.

*Coming soon* Guardian check-in experience: Your families will enjoy a streamlined check-in experience that takes less steps and makes it easier to complete the check-in process. The functionality will stay the same – it’ll just be a more seamless process.
