Stay connected with other brightwheel families with an easy-to-access directory of contact information available from both the web and mobile app!
If the feature is enabled by an administrator and you do not want to share your information, you will have the option to opt out of sharing your email address or phone number via your web profile.
Access Parent Directory on the Web
Open the Parent Directory page on the purple sidebar from your account on the web!
The directory will contain contact information for all students who are assigned to the same rooms as your children, including all programs if you have students at multiple schools.
Use the Students filter to search for individual students if you are looking for contact information for a specific child.
If a parent has chosen to share their contact information then the parent's profile picture, name, and email or phone will be displayed next to the student’s name. Selecting the email address will open your email provider to quickly send an email to the parent.
If a parent has chosen to share their contact information, they will not see their own name or the name of their student in the directory. This is because they already have access to view all contact information listed on that student's profile.

Click the ≡ menu in the top left corner
Click to open the Parent Directory page
The table displayed is the exact same information available on the web.
Use the Students filter to search for individual students if you are looking for contact information for a specific child.
If a parent has chosen to share their contact information then the parent's profile picture, name, and email or phone will be displayed next to the student’s name. Selecting the email address will open your email provider to quickly send an email to the parent and selecting a phone number will allow you to call the parent directly.
How to Opt-out of Sharing Contact Information
Parents can opt out of sharing contact information in the Parent Directory by following the steps below from the web.
Log in to brightwheel on the web
Click My Profile on the purple sidebar menu
Scroll to the bottom and locate the PARENT DIRECTORY CONTACT SHARING section
Click Edit
Select what details to share if any or choose Do Not Share to completely opt-out
Click Save when finished
