Learning: Create Learning activities

[For All Staff] Learn how view, create, and edit Learning activities.

Learning activities are the individual lessons within a plan that educators use to teach children and can be reused across multiple Lesson plans.

Staff can access the individual activities on the go during lessons and mark them as complete to show what the child did that day.

Create a Learning activity

To create a custom Learning activity, you'll add a title and category, then optionally include descriptions or skills to track progress. You can also add activities to room lists to make them available for future lesson planning in that specific room.

  1. Log in on the web

  2. Hit Learning in the sidebar menu

  3. Click the Library tab > Learning activities sub tab

  4. Hit Create new > Learning activity

  5. Build the activity and hit Done when finished

Add a Learning activity to a Lesson plan

In order for a Learning activity to appear in rooms, it must be embedded within a Lesson plan.

  1. Log in on the web

  2. Hit Learning in the sidebar menu

  3. Click the Library tab > Learning activities sub tab

  4. Find a learning activity, then hit the plus + icon

  5. Choose Lesson or Room plan, the assigned days/sections then hit Add

  1. From the Rooms screen, select Learning

  2. Tap the search icon 🔎 in the upper right corner to search for a learning activity

  3. Tap the plus sign to add the desired learning activity

  4. Select the Day(s) the learning activity will be assigned to

  5. Select the Section(s) the learning activity will appear under

  6. Tap Add to lesson plan

  1. Log in and click Learning

  2. Open Library → Learning activities

  3. Search or use filters to locate the Learning activity

  1. Click into a room

  2. Go to Learning

  3. View assigned activities or tap 🔎 to search
