Sometimes a family canât or doesnât need to pay the fee that comes with an enrollment packet. For example, you might waive the fee for a sibling of a current family, or a family may have paid you directly outside of brightwheel. Voiding the fee removes the charge so it doesnât show as an outstanding balance on the familyâs account.
đĄ Tip: Families can still submit packets, and you can approve them, even if the admissions packet fee was never paid.
Void an admissions packet fee
You can void a packet fee from the Packets tab, the childâs billing page, or the childâs profile. These steps use the Packets tab. After you void the fee, the fee status will show as Voided.
Log in on the web
In the sidebar menu, go to Paperwork > Packets
Select the name of the packet to view its submissions
Next to the child with the unpaid fee, select Actions > View invoice
In the invoice, select Actions > Void invoice
