If youâre a parent, guardian, or family member with a verified phone number on your brightwheel account, you can receive most notifications by SMS, including messages your provider chooses to send with a text notification.
If you signed up with a phone number, you're likely already opted in. If you aren't receiving SMS notifications, this setting may be turned off in your account or you may need to add a phone number to your account.
Turn SMS notifications on or off
You can update this setting anytime in the brightwheel mobile app.
Log into the brightwheel app
Tap the three horizontal lines in the top left corner > Select Edit Profile
Scroll to Settings > Tap Notifications
Under SMS, toggle ON or OFF for "All messages"
