Brightwheel's Time off tab provides multiple views to help Admins quickly understand staff availability. From upcoming and historical time off to summary reports and schedule visibility, these tools make it easy to track time off, review totals, and ensure staffing coverage across your program.
View a summary of all time off
The Time off summary gives admins a clear view of total staff time off, including upcoming and past records, with totals for paid and unpaid hours. You can also see time off by reason, such as Personal, Holiday, Sick, or Other.
Log in on the web
Go to Staff & Payroll in the left sidebar
Select the Time off tab, then open Summary
Filter by the staff member, the type of time off, or date range
(Optional) Click Export to download or Print the summary
View upcoming time off
Upcoming Time Off gives admins a quick view of who is currently out or has time off scheduled.
Log in on the web
Go to Staff & Payroll in the left sidebar
Select the Time off tab > Upcoming tab
Leave filters blank to view all data, or filter by the staff member, time off type, and date range
(Optional) Click Export to download the file, or Print

View historical time off
The Time Off History view shows all past time off taken up to today.
Log in on the web
Go to Staff & Payroll in the left sidebar
Select the Time off tab > History tab
Filter by the staff member, time off type or date range
(Optional) Click Export to download the file, or Print
View time off on schedules
Once a time off event is created, it is visible in Schedules to Admins and Staff. Providers can even add, edit and delete time off in a schedule and it will be visible under the Time off tab.
