Manage billing plan templates

[For Admins + Billing Only Role] Learn how to edit, delete, and manage locations assignments for bill plan templates.

Billing plan templates can be edited or deleted at any time to reflect changes in rates or billing schedules. Templates can be managed at the individual site level or across multiple locations for multi-site programs.


Manage a template

Admins can edit or delete templates easily. Changes don’t impact existing student plans assigned and only apply to future plans.

Edit a template

Follow these steps to edit a single template. If you need to adjust rates across multiple templates at once, visit Update program billing rates in bulk for steps.

  1. Log in on the web

  2. From the sidebar, click Billing > Library

  3. Next to the template, click Actions

  4. Select Edit plan template

Delete a template

  1. Log in on the web

  2. From the sidebar, click Billing > Library

  3. Next to the template, click Actions

  4. Select Delete plan template

Note: If you can’t edit or delete a billing plan template, you may not have permission, or the template was created at the multi-site level. Please contact your program administrator directly for help.


Manage templates across multiple sites

As a Multi-site Admin, you can edit, delete, or manage which locations have access to organization-level templates. Any changes to a template only affect new plans created from that point forward and will not impact plans already assigned to children.

Edit templates

Follow these steps to edit a single template. If you need to adjust rates across multiple templates at once, visit Update program billing rates in bulk for steps.

  1. Log in on the web

  2. At the top of the left sidebar menu, click the current program name

  3. Click Billing in the sidebar menu > Library tab

  4. Next to the template, hit Actions > Edit plan template or Delete plan template

Delete templates

  1. Log in on the web

  2. At the top of the left sidebar menu, click the current program name

  3. Click Billing in the sidebar menu > Library tab

  4. Next to the template, hit Actions > Edit plan template or Delete plan template

Change which locations can use a template

Multi-site Admins can assign templates to specific locations or remove them as needed. Removing a location does not delete any billing plans already assigned to students.

  1. Log in on the web

  2. At the top of the left sidebar menu, click the current program name

  3. Click Billing in the sidebar menu > Library tab

  4. Next to the template, hit Actions > Edit location access next to the template

  5. Turn locations on or off, then click Save
