We don't currently offer the functionality to upload or attach documents directly to a message sent to parents. In the meantime, we have a few ideas if you'd like to share newsletters, handouts, or any other printed information with your families.
One possible solution is to use cloud file sharing websites such as Box or Google Drive, to host your document online. You can then send a link to that document via our messaging tool. All links in brightwheel messaging are clickable.
Another common workaround, especially for newsletters, is to take a photo of your newsletter and then share it through our Activity feature as a Note and attaching the photo.
Alternatively, brightwheel gives schools the option of adding attachments directly to student and staff profiles. This gives school administrators the option to allow parents and/or family to download and view these files.
