Manage my Professional Development subscription

[For Admins] Learn how to view your Professional Development plan, update your payment method and plan types.

Written by Audrey

brightwheel's Professional Development subscription gives your team access to complete state-accepted trainings.

This article walks you through how to contact support to manage your subscription, including updating your payment method and reviewing the plan options available.

View my Professional Development plan

To view your current Professional Development subscription and rate, navigate to your Subscriptions tab on the web.

Change or cancel your plan

To upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your Professional Development subscription, please contact the brightwheel Support Team with your request.

Subscription types

Brightwheel Professional Development is a 12-month subscription that you can pay for in two ways:

  • Annual - Pre-pay for the year and receive a discount. Most programs go with the annual prepay since it’s the best value.

  • Monthly - Still a 12-month subscription, but payments are spread across each month versus being paid all at once.

Both options include unlimited courses for your staff and automated tracking for you.
And, if any staff members leave, those licenses automatically roll over to new staff members who join.

💡 To modify your Professional Development subscription, or for questions about which plan is right for you, please contact our team.

Update your payment method

You can update the card or bank account on file for your Professional Development subscription at any time. This is helpful if a card expires or your billing information changes. Changes to your payment method take effect on your next billing cycle.

  1. Log in on the web

  2. In the sidebar menu, click My School > Settings > Subscriptions

  3. Locate the ‘Payment Methods’ tile

  4. Click + Add new to link a credit/debit card or bank account

Note: The payment method used for Professional Development is the same as your Premium subscription. It's not possible to list separate subscription payment methods at this time.
