Staff Professional Development hours can post automatically to supported state registries, reducing manual reporting. In order for completed hours to post to your state's registry, you must add your state registry ID to your brightwheel Professional Development profile.

🚩 Important: We are able to auto-post completed brightwheel Professional Development courses to these supported states. Any hours manually added to a staff brightwheel profile will not auto-post.

Add your state registry ID

Before you begin, make sure you have your registry ID handy. Once it’s added in brightwheel, eligible courses completed going forward will be posted to your registry account automatically.

Please note that it may take 1–2 weeks for hours to appear. If you have questions on your posted hours, please contact pd@mybrightwheel.com.

  1. Access brightwheel Professional Development through the Training tab in brightwheel

  2. Once on the platform, click on the profile icon (top right) > Choose Profile

  3. Scroll down and enter your state registry ID

  4. Wait for the 'profile updated successfully' message to appear

We recommend double checking your ID is entered correctly. If there are any typos, staff won't get credit for their completed courses.
