Adding your state registry ID to your brightwheel Professional Development profile allows select completed professional development hours to post directly to supported state registries, reducing manual reporting.

đŸš© Important: If your state isn’t supported (see support states list), or the course is not accepted by your state, professional development hours won’t auto-post. You can still download certificates and submit them manually if needed.

Add your state registry ID

Before you begin, make sure you have your registry ID handy. Once it’s added, eligible courses completed going forward will be posted to your registry account. Please note that it may take 1–2 weeks or more for hours to appear.

  1. Access your professional Development Platform through brightwheel or log in here

  2. Once on the platform, click on the profile icon (top right) > Choose Profile

  3. Scroll down and enter your state registry ID

  4. Wait for the 'profile updated successfully' message to appear
